AI Transparency
Use of Artificial Intelligence
This app uses AI. In accordance with the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), we transparently disclose:
- The Event Buddy uses Claude (Anthropic) as an AI language model to answer questions.
- AI-generated responses are clearly identifiable (chat interface, no human sender).
- The AI does not provide psychological, legal, medical, or financial advice.
- Chat messages are transmitted to Anthropic (US/EU) for processing but are not used for AI model training.
- Feedback is stored anonymized and used to improve the event.
- The AI knowledge base is limited to LMU Career Service content (lmu.de/career-service) and event data.
Risk classification per EU AI Act: Minimal risk – general-purpose AI chatbot, no high-risk application.

Data Privacy
All data is processed based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) and deleted no later than 30 days after the event.
